Managed Services - Staff Purchasing Analyst

The opportunity

Purchasing Agent is responsible to handle any incoming query from Centene internal users and suppliers. Supposed to manage tickets in ServiceNow and provide resolution in a timely manner. requests received may cover various areas from process, policy, systems perspective.

Your key responsibilities

Being a key figure in our procurement functionality, you will manage all incoming inquiries from internal clients and suppliers. Your tasks will cover a variety of areas-from process and policy aspects to system queries, utilizing ServiceNow to manage tickets efficiently, providing prompt and effective resolution.

Position Responsibilities:

ServiceNow Ticket Management

• First level support for Centene employees, suppliers
• Review and triage request received in ServiceNow
• Analyze root cause and assist with resolution
• Communicate timely to contacts and ensure adequate information is directed towards requestors
• Build collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and other Procurement teams
• Address inquiries raised by vendors and business stakeholders related to purchasing transactions (e.g. requisitions, POs, catalogs, etc.)
• Provide guidance on Procurement policies and procedures to business stakeholders to increase compliance
• Engage business stakeholders, Accounts Payable and other Procurement teams to resolve purchasing process exceptions
• Provide buying channel guidance on appropriate purchasing method

Process Improvement & Reporting

• Analyze reports generated from ticketing system to identify areas for improvement
• Support continuous improvement opportunities to drive process excellence, reduce turnaround times and increase compliance with Procurement policies and procedures

To qualify for the role you must have

• Advanced fluency in English and Spanish.
• At least 1 years of purchasing or procurement working experience.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, or other similar ticketing tools.
• Ability to adapt effectively to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid changes.
