Engineering Manager at BairesDev

As an Engineering Manager specializing in Python, you’ll be at the helm of a new product, guiding your team and collaborating closely with Product Management, Architects, and the CTO to shape a cutting-edge solution. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a strong focus on quality and efficiency, making you instrumental in building a high-performing team and delivering top-notch software.

What you will do:

- Build a team by sourcing, selecting, interviewing, and hiring the right candidates.

- Work with Product Management to define the roadmap, MVP, and key metrics of the product.

- Collaborate with Architects and team leads to establish the right architecture for the product.

- Manage the project, facilitating scrum meetings and ensuring effective sprint planning.

- Participate in the development and testing of features to maintain high standards of quality.

What we are looking for:

- 7+ years of experience in software development and delivery.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python.

- Strong technical background and experience in building and leading teams.

- A business-oriented mindset with the ability to provide visibility into business metrics and company goals.

- Proven experience in designing E2E modular solutions that integrate well within the ecosystem.

- Proficiency in event-driven architecture on AWS (SQS, SNS, ECS, Lambdas).

- Advanced level of English.
