We’re Hiring: HR Analyst (Remote - LATAM)

Full-time | Reports to HR Manager | Educational Industry

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and support core HR functions such as employee data management, payroll processing, policy compliance, recruitment, onboarding, and general employee support. Proficiency in Rippling and other HR tech tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • HRIS Management (Rippling)
  • Register new employees on Rippling, ensuring complete and accurate records.
  • Manage updates such as salary adjustments, role changes, and other modifications.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee data including status, departments, supervisors, and benefits.
  • Payroll Processing
  • Review and validate time-tracking and attendance records.
  • Coordinate with supervisors to approve worked hours before each payroll cycle.
  • Ensure payroll accurately reflects hours worked, leave, and applicable benefits.
  • Policy Development & Compliance
  • Draft, review, and update internal policies in line with current labor laws.
  • Ensure compliance with local and federal labor regulations.
  • Support conflict resolution processes while upholding legal and ethical standards.
  • Employee Requests & Leave Management
  • Review and process employee requests for sick leave, vacation, and special leave.
  • Verify supporting documentation and ensure alignment with company policies.
  • Recruitment & Selection
  • Post job openings on official and external platforms.
  • Review applications and resumes via Rippling.
  • Conduct candidate screening and profile evaluations.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and documentation collection.
  • Interview candidates and organize online or in-person job fairs.
  • Pre-employment Documentation
  • Send selected candidates documentation for:
    • Health insurance enrollment
    • Drug testing
    • Medical and background checks
  • Liaise with labs and vendors to follow up on results and confirmations.
  • Hiring & Role Formalization
  • Draft and issue employment contracts, ensuring legal and organizational compliance.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date job descriptions for all roles.
  • Organize and manage digital and physical employee records.
  • Onboarding & Orientation
  • Deliver onboarding sessions for new hires, covering policies, processes, and benefits.
  • Ensure all new employees receive and sign the employee handbook and related documentation.
Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR or similar roles in the US or Puerto Rico
  • Strong knowledge of Rippling
  • Familiarity with tools such as Slack, ClickUp / Notion / Asana.
  • Solid understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Bilingual or fluent in English and Spanish
