A Front Desk Supervisor oversees the operational activities of both the front desk and the hotel’s guestroom areas, including check-in/check-out processes, guest service, interdepartmental coordination, and quality control of room cleanliness. This role combines leadership in guest-facing operations with a strong focus on room standards and housekeeping coordination.

What will your responsibilities be?
As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating activities between guests, the hotel, and different departments. Your role is to supervise both the first impression and the overall guest experience throughout their stay. Responsibilities include:
Front Desk:
- Supervise front desk operations during your shift, ensuring high standards of quality and service.
- Ensure your team is updated on hotel products, services, rates, special promotions, VIP guests, and daily events.
- Brief the team on special events or VIP guests staying at the hotel each day.
- Oversee team appearance, service standards, and performance, promoting ongoing training and teamwork.
- Maximize revenue through up-selling strategies and hotel service promotions.
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional front desk presentation with a consistent focus on hospitality and guest care.
- Coordinate with the Housekeeping team to prioritize room cleaning based on guest flow (early arrivals, late check-outs).
- Conduct regular inspections of check-out rooms and spot checks on occupied rooms.
- Report and follow up on any maintenance, cleanliness, or service issues found in rooms or public areas.
- Assist in organizing housekeeping schedules and shift coverage in coordination with the Floor Supervisor.
- Ensure each room meets brand standards for cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort.

- Front Office experience in the hotel, leisure, and/or retail sector
- Strong commercial/business awareness and demonstration of sales capabilities
- Calm, organized work ethic with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent supervisory, inter-personal, and communication skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional levels of Guest service
- A relevant supervisory/management certificate/diploma or degree
